I was excited when I had plenty of time during cocktail hour to photograph all of their beautiful reception details.īefore the reception began, we snuck off before golden hour for portraits, and OH MY- Some of my favorite portraits ever. I love this! It slows down the day and gives everyone involved time to take a breath. Marissa and Joe really wanted time to enjoy cocktail hour and their reception so we knocked out all the bridal party portraits before the ceremony. The photo of Marissa giving her besties a thumbs up before walking up to him really says it all- so excited that their day was finally here!!! After their first look, we went to one of the best overlooks at Stone Tower Winery and took portraits! Joe came over to the cottage for the first look. I think everyone watching was moved to tears as she shared this special moment with her family before seeing Joe! Marissa started off the morning getting ready with her girls in the Bridal Cottage followed by a first look with her brother and dad. I knew no matter what, their wedding day was going to be fun, beautiful, and relaxing. From the moment we first spoke on the phone, I’ve been waiting for Marissa and Joe’s Stone Tower Winery wedding! They are both incredibly kind and easy-going.
